La música, captador i recuperador d’atenció en el podcast

Partint de la hipòtesi inicial, la música afavoreix que l’atenció prestada en un podcast sigui major, s’ha plantejat un experiment. Aquest ha consistit en l’escolta d’un dels quatre podcast iguals pel que fa al contingut, però amb tractaments musicals totalment diferents, i contrastant les respostes d’ un qüestionari. Hem avaluat la memòria a curt termini per tal de conèixer l’atenció prestada, i els resultats han estat força semblants entre els quatre podcasts. També hem preguntat quins efectes ha tingut la música sobre els propis oients i és on hem trobat les principals diferències. Així doncs, podem corroborar que malgrat la música sigui un dels factors primordials, aquesta no té el pes més gran en la captació de l’atenció, sinó que hi ha altres factors rellevants.

Based on the initial hypothesis, which says that the music benefits the attentions paid in a podcast, we have proposed an experiment. That experiment, consist on listening one of the four podcast versions, they are identical on terms of content, but completely different on terms of musical treatment. We evaluated the short-term memory in order to know the attention paid, and the results were really similar between the four podcasts. We also asked what effects music has had on the listeners themselves and that’s where we found the main differences. Then, the results of a poll which asks about the content of the podcast and the musical treatment has been compared. After, we can corroborate that although music is one of the principal factors, it does not have the biggest weight in capturing the attention, there are other relevant factors.
