Esta tesis propone un plan estratégico para Jammcard, una red activa de profesionales de la música con sede en California, para expandirse en el mercado colombiano, específicamente en Bogotá. Los autores se centran en el complejo entorno empresarial que Jammcard enfrentaría al expandirse a Colombia. Este plan de negocio de internacionalización evalúa cómo adaptar el modelo de negocio de la empresa a las condiciones locales para, en última instancia, crear una filial rentable en América Latina. Las áreas clave de análisis abarcan evaluaciones externas de Colombia y la industria musical, estrategias de entrada al mercado, el panorama competitivo, un análisis interno exhaustivo de Jammcard, tácticas de marketing, gestión de recursos humanos y un plan financiero detallado para lograr rentabilidad. El objetivo es posicionar a Jammcard como un líder en la industria musical colombiana, aprovechando el talento local y fomentando una cultura de innovación y colaboración.

This thesis proposes a strategic plan for Jammcard, an active music professional network based out of California, to expand into the Colombian market, specifically to Bogotá. Authors focus on the complex business environment Jammcard would face to expand to Colombia. This internationalization business plan assesses how to adapt the company’s business model to local conditions to ultimately create a profitable subsidiary in Latin America. Key areas of analysis encompass external assessments of Colombia and the music industry, market entry strategies, the competitive landscape, a comprehensive internal analysis of Jammcard, marketing tactics, human resources management, and a detailed financial plan to achieve profitability. The goal is to position Jammcard as a leading player in the Colombian music industry by leveraging local talent and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
