Treball i immigració a Espanya: el paper de les polítiques actives

Abstract

En aquest treball pretenc analitzar les polítiques actives d’ocupació emprades pel govern espanyol referents a la població immigrant. El període d’anàlisis es centrarà en els últims 17 anys, dins el qual podrem diferenciar clarament dos subperíodes: l’anterior a la crisi (2000-2007) i durant i després de la crisi (2008-2017). Aquesta subdivisió ens permetrà veure clarament quines van ser les actuacions del govern (polítiques actives d’ocupació) durant les diferents situacions econòmiques per les que ha evolucionat el nostre país en els últims anys. L’objectiu principal és estudiar els efectes de les polítiques actives d’ocupació sobre el mercat laboral de la població immigrant. Analitzarem aquests efectes a través d’indicadors del mercat de treball, com ara la taxa d’ocupació, la taxa d’activitat i la taxa d’atur; i ho compararem amb els valors dels mateixos indicadors assolits per la població nativa.

In this work I expect to analyse the active employment policies used by the Spanish government regarding the immigrant population. The analysis period will focus on the last 17 years, within which we can clearly differentiate two subperiods: the previous one to the crisis (2000-2007) and during and after the crisis (2008-2017). This subdivision will allow us to see clearly the actions of the government (active employment policies) during the two economic situations that our country has suffered in recent years. The main goal is to study the effects of these active employment policies on the immigrants’ labour market. We study this effect through employment indicators, such as the employment rate, the activity rate and the unemployment rate. We also compare them with those of the native people.
