Aproximaciones al estudio de la interculturalidad en el mundo Samurai

Abstract

Partiendo del análisis de las características de la cultura guerrera que condicionan su interculturalidad, el texto expone algunos ejemplos de la misma tomados de la historia y de diferentes esferas de la cultura samurai: su temprana interacción con la cultura emishi, su interés en el arte de la renga, su influencia en la formación del teatro Nō a partir del rescate y la síntesis de diversas manifestaciones del arte popular y, finalmente, la interacción entre el Nō y el arte del Kendō a través del intercambio cultural entre los actores y los maestros de la esgrima japonesa de la escuela Yagyū.

Based on analysis of the characteristics of the warrior culture that determine its interculturality, this study presents some examples taken from the history and different spheres of the samurai culture: the early interaction between the warriors and the Emishi culture, their interest in the art of Renga, their influence on the formation of the Nō theatre through recovery and synthesis of various manifestations of popular art, and finally, the interaction between Nō and the art of Kendō, through the cultural exchange between the actors and the masters of the Yagyū school of fencing.
