¿Es posible hoy un verdadero diálogo interreligioso? : Ramon Llull, precursor de la tolerancia

Abstract

Ramón Llull es, sin lugar a dudas, una de las principales figuras de la filosofía medieval y uno de los pensadores que con mayor creatividad y profundidad ha reflexionado sobre las relaciones entre fe y razón y la posibilidad de un acercamiento entre tradiciones religiosas diversas. Teniendo en cuenta el contexto contemporáneo, en el que se ha agudizado la interculturalidad, se pretende revisar la concepción luliana sobre el diálogo interreligioso. Para ello, se mostrará la racionalidad de la creencia según Llull y a partir de un análisis del Libro del gentil y los tres sabios se examinarán las condiciones de un auténtico diálogo entre creyentes de diferentes confesiones religiosas y no creyentes.

Ramon Llull is, undoubtedly, one of the main figures of medieval philosophy and one of those thinkers who have reflected on the relationship between faith and reason and on the possibility of a rapprochement between different religious traditions with major creativity and depth. Considering the contemporary context, in which interculturalism has been intensified, this article wants to revise the Lullian concept of interfaith dialogue. For this purpose, the rationality of belief according to Llull will be explored; we shall also examine the conditions of an authentic dialogue between believers of different religious denominations and non-believers according to the Book of the Gentile and the Three Wise Men.
