Utilització del robot mòbil com a eina d'aprenentatge en ensenyaments tècnics

Abstract

En aquest Projecte de Millora de la Qualitat Docent es descriu el disseny, la construcció i la utilització d’un robot mòbil com a eina docent en titulacions d’Enginyeria. El robot mòbil té com a element de control un PC portàtil convencional per tal de facilitar el procés d’aprenentatge de l’alumnat estigui centrat en l’objectiu de les pràctiques i no en el funcionament i control del robot. A més a més, el robot disposa d’un elevat nombre de sensors i actuadors per tal d’oferir un elevat grau d’interdisciplinaritat.

The project "Utilització del robot mòbil com a eina d'aprenentatge en ensenyaments tècnics / Utilization of a mobile robot as a learning tool in technical education" was developed in 2007 in the Escola Politècnica Superior of the Universitat de Lleida. The main goal of this project is to design and build a mobile robot as a tool for learning in technical degrees. To achieve this goal, the mobile robot includes several high level functions to simplify the control of the robot and focus the learning in other main subjects. However, other low level functions are also available as individual control of the motors, changes in the PID parameters of the internal controllers and so on. The first experience developed in 2007 in a special subject related with the robotics in the degree of “Enginyeria Tècnica en Informàtica de Sistemes” demonstrates the effect of motivation originated by the use of mobile robots in the classroom as a learning tool.
