This paper presents the experimental evaluation of an interference- mitigation scheme tailored for heterogeneous multi-cell LTE-based systems. The real-time FPGA-based system implementation was evaluated under realistic operating conditions using the GEDOMIS® testbed. An intensive measurement campaign was conducted to assess the performance-gains of the proposed scheme, considering mobile channels and various levels of noise and interference.
