Current and future devices are becoming more intelligent and will be increasingly connected to each other and to other infrastructures making people's lives easier. This growing trend of connectivity between devices is leading to more and more research in this area and creating new challenges in the field of telecommunications and automotive industry. This thesis focuses on the study of the scatterer field produced by the objects in close range scenarios to obtain the imaging or the reconstruction of the environment, emphasizing the study of a vehicle. For this purpose, the scatterer mapping technique applied in this project is validated by comparing the results of the simulation and the experimental part. The frequency studied in this work is one of the most important frequency bands in the new generation of wireless communications, 5G. Different scenarios and different geometries have been carried out to obtain the required results for this thesis.
