The ability of design to transform the world towards a sustainable environment

Abstract

This basis for this thesis originally stemmed from author's passion for how to use holistic system design thinking and design tools to realize more value and creatively participate in solving current system problems. The author review our reality in depth and releases people's original design natural by proposing repositioning design and points out that everyone has design capabilities and that everyone is a co-designer of our world. Afterwards, the author demonstrated the power and responsibility of design to change the world, and the feasibility of "design" as a powerful driving force and a tool for change. Then, as an argument example, the author designed a digital visualization platform-"Light of Love" using the holistic system design thinking. "Light of Love" builds a dynamic, living and unfolding network of creative symbiotic relationships, inspiring people's original design ability and creativity. This thesis will share with us the innovation and value contribution of this platform in solving the wicked problem, how "Light of Love" making design and creativity more in line with the urgent challenges of society and becoming a positive tool for our social transformation, and helping people transition to a renewable and sustainable world.
