Tecnología LoRa en Arduino Portenta H7

Abstract

LoRa es una tecnología de comunicación inalámbrica de largo alcance y bajo consumo, de reciente creación permitiendo llevar aplicaciones IoT a lugares remotos con escasos recursos. Este trabajo consiste en proporcionar conectividad LoRa al Arduino Portenta H7 con la finalidad de crear una red tipo LoRaMesh donde se unen los beneficios de LoRa y el potencial de Arduino Portenta H7. Con esta combinación se abre un nuevo campo de investigación y a su vez permite añadir aprendizaje autónomo como Federated Learning a las funcionalidades de las aplicaciones IoT.

LoRa is a recently created low-power, long-range wireless communication technology that allows IoT applications to be brought to remote locations with limited resources. This work consists of providing LoRa connectivity to the Arduino Portenta H7 in order to create a LoRaMesh type network where the benefits of LoRa and the potential of Arduino Portenta H7 come together. With this combination, a new field of research is opened and, it allows the addition of autonomous learning such as Federated Learning to the functionalities of IoT applications.
