Vereatable indoor garden

Abstract

Treball desenvolupat en el marc del programa "European Project Semester".

Vereatable is a prototype of vertical farming (to take more space) with aeroponic growing system (without sand, neither pesticides or unhealthy chemicals) to be placed inside the houses and grow by itselves, in other words the owner doesn’t need to do anything. Once the owner chooses what he/she wants to grow, with an App that can be downloaded for mobiles, tablets and PC, he/she selects on the App what they had put in the plantpod and the system knows how much water and light does it need. How can it be done? So the system is provided of water level sensors and light sensors, so the quantity of water that is received is controlled by the water level sensor and the light by the light sensor, so if the light that is receiving the plant is not enough there are lights that provide them. The process can be followed by the App and at the moment that the plant has grown a notification will appear in our devices. So at that time new plant can be added to be grown in the plantpod.

Vereatable es un prototipo de agricultura vertical (para aprovechar más el espacio) que utiliza un sistema aeropónico (sin abonos, ni pesticidas, ni químicos) para ser situado dentro de las casas y crecer de forma autónoma, es decir el dueño no tiene que preocuparse de nada. Una vez el dueño escoje lo que quiere plantar, con una App que puede descargarse para móviles, tablets y ordenadores, selecciona mediante la App lo que ha decidido plantar y el sistema por si solo sabe cuanta luz y agua necesita.
