Reanimando el silencio: rehabilitar, reprogramar, reusar

Abstract

Al barri del Poblenou de Barcelona, on la mixticitat d’usos i tipologies edificatòries és inherent, el carrer Marroc es presenta com un eix amb un fort valor patrimonial, connectant els conjunts industrials de Can Ricart i Ca l’Illa. Actualment interromput per un tap de mobilitat, el carrer marca un abans i un després al llarg del seu recorregut. El projecte proposa alliberar aquesta circulació i intervenir en una illa obsoleta, posant en valor el potencial del teixit urbà existent. La intervenció respecta l’escala del barri, treballant amb petites parcel·les i tenint en compte el carrer Pere IV com a nou eix estructurant i de mobilitat.

En el barrio del Poblenou de Barcelona, donde la mixticidad de usos y tipologías es inherente, la calle Marroc se presenta como un eje cargado de valor patrimonial, al conectar los conjuntos industriales de Can Ricart y Ca l’Illa. Actualmente interrumpida por un tapón de movilidad, la calle marca un antes y un después en su trazado. El proyecto propone liberar esta circulación y actuar sobre una manzana obsoleta, explorando así el potencial del tejido urbano. La intervención toma como referencia la escala del barrio, trabajando con pequeñas parcelas y considerando la calle Pere IV como nuevo eje estructurante y de movilidad.

In the Poblenou district of Barcelona, where the mix of uses and building typologies is intrinsic, Marroc Street emerges as an axis rich in heritage value, connecting the industrial complexes of Can Ricart and Ca l’Illa. Currently interrupted by a mobility blockage, the street marks a clear before and after along its path. The project proposes to restore circulation and intervene in an obsolete urban block, revealing the potential of the existing urban fabric. The intervention respects the neighborhood’s scale by working with small urban plots and considers Pere IV Street as a new structural and mobility axis.
