[eng] This artic le focuses on the beginnings of film criticism in the Barcelona's weekly magazine Destino between 1939 and 1940. After describing Destino's evolution from its origins in 1937, we analyse the presence of Franco's ideology across film articles and reviews, and explain the causes, the main characters and the consequences of the subtle critical controversy around the film La tonta del bote (Gonzalo Delgrás, 1939), based on pilar Millán Astray's theatre.
