Las relaciones lingüísticas entre Cataluña y América. El caso de las voces 'caimán/caiman, carey/carei y pavo/gall dindi' en la lexicografía castellana y catalana

[cat] En aquest article, l'autor ha pretès d'assenyalar la relació lingüística i cultural entre Catalunya i l'Amèrica llatina mitjançant l'anàlisi del tractament lexicogràfic de les veus caiman, carei i gall dindi en diccionaris de llengua castellans i catalans, sense pretendre d'establir-hi la cronologia de la seva incorporació en ambdues llengües. Així mateix, hom hi constata com la informació compresa a la microestructura depèn, en major o menor mesura, de les característiques de les dues tradicions lexicogràfiques en qüestió.

[eng] In this paper, the author's aim is to indicate the linguistic and cultural relationships between Catalonia and Latin America by analyzing the lexicographical treatment of the words caiman, carei and gall dindi in Spanish and Catalan dictionaries, without taking into account the chronology of their incorporation in either language. In the same way, it has been noted that the information included on the headword depends on the characteristics of both lexicographical traditions.
