Se analiza el surgimiento de las publicaciones digitales diseñadas para los nuevos dispositivos portátiles con pantalla táctil. Si el mundo de la textualidad escrita vivió en los últimos treinta años una mutación del papel a la pantalla, ahora asistimos a una ulterior fase de ese proceso donde las interfaces se recombinan, lo viejo dialoga con lo nuevo y los textos habitan en las nuevas ‘especies’ mediáticas híbridas. Se analiza la emergencia de las emagazines desde una perspectiva que integra la semiótica de las interfaces y la ecología de medios.

The text analyses the emergence of digital publications designed for the new portable devices with touchscreen. If in the /nlast 30 years the universe of written text went through a mutation from paper to screens, now we are seeing a further stage /nof this process that recombines these interfaces, the old devices dialogue with the new ones and texts reside in new ‘spe/n-/ncies’ of hybrid media. The arrival of the emagazines is analysed from a perspective that integrates semiotics of interfaces /nand media ecology.
