The late antique archaeological site (sixth–seventh centuries ad) of València la Vella (Riba-Roja de Túria, València, Spain) has, in recent years, become a reference for the archaeological research of the late antique period. The recent excavation campaigns, developed since 2016, have revealed an important number of structures and materials, among which are around 300 coins, many from stratigraphic contexts. These are the object of the current study.
