Mas d’en Bosc (Constantí, Ager Tarraconensis): reinterpretació d’un centre productor vitivinícola d’època romana

Abstract

Presentem una anàlisi del centre productiu vitivinícola romà de Mas d’en Bosc. Aquest s’ha efectuat a partir de la documentació de les intervencions antigues desenvolupades pel Museo Arqueológico Provincial i les empreses codex i cota 64; juntament amb els indicis obtinguts en una recent actuació de neteja, documentació estratigràfica i prospecció geofísica efectuada per l’ICAC. Els resultats aporten una nova perspectiva sobre la dimensió d’aquest assentament en el sistema econòmic i productiu de l’ager Tarraconensis i obren la porta a futures investigacions sobre la seva cronologia i evolució històrica.

This paper presents an analysis of the Roman winemaking production center of Mas d’en Bosc. The analysis is based on documentation from previous interventions conducted by the Provincial Archaeological Museum and the companies codex and cota 64, together with the evidence obtained from a recent cleaning operation, stratigraphic documentation, and geophysical prospecting carried out by the ICAC. The results provide a new perspective on the role of this settlement within the economic and productive system of the ager Tarraconensis, opening ways for future research on its chronology and historical development.
